Mountain Pointe High School opened the 2017-2018 school year today, and the boys basketball team was front and center. The boys were on time and looking forward to a strong school year. Character and academics are foundations for Coach Eason, the boys made a good first impression by being on time and prepared for classes. Coach Eason, who will be teaching Freshman English, was one of the 700 plus freshmen that arrived on campus today. Not only is this his first season, but it’s also his first year teaching in the district. If the first day is any indication the boys look like they are going to have a great year, on and off the court.
