campsSpring Workouts
Spring workouts are used to develop the players’ individual strength, athleticism, and skills, after the regular season has ended. These workouts include weight training, plyometric and flexibility training, and basketball skills and drills. The program run from the first week in March to the last week in May. Strength Training is Monday-Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Skills and Drills is from 5:30pm to 6:30pm (Guards – Mondays & Wednesdays/Forwards – Tuesdays & Thursdays). These workouts are for current Mountain Pointe Students.

Summer Workouts
Summer workouts are designed to develop Mountain Pointe Boys Basketball Players individually and collectively during the month of June. Players are drilled in all areas of basketball, to develop their fundamental skills. While the main focus is the individual, we also include team drills to help players define their roles for the upcoming season. Besides the workouts, all 3 levels participate in summer leagues, team camps and tournaments. Varsity and JV workouts are from 12pm – 3pm, and Freshmen workouts are from 9am – 11am, Monday – Thursday the entire month. This program is for current Mountain Pointe students, and freshman that are enrolled.

Fall Workouts
Fall workouts prepare basketball prospects for tryouts and the regular season. The program begins the 2nd week of August and ends the 3rd week of October. The main focus is conditioning, but weight training and skill work is also included. With conditioning as the focus, athletes will do various forms of running; from distant to intermediate sprints to basketball specific sprints. Conditioning and Strength Training are Monday-Thursday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm. Skills and Drills 5:30pm to 6:30pm (Guards – Mondays & Wednesdays/Forwards – Tuesdays & Thursdays). These workouts are for current Mountain Pointe Students.
